Week 4 Challenge - 5km Winter Test. Run a 5km route as fast as you can. Whether it's the run club Inaugural route, Macc parkrun or your own 5k route you've done before. Go out and give it your best shot! 5 Challenge points up for grabs for completion, tag me in your Strava comments or screenshot over. *** 2 bonus points if you... 1. You get a new 5km PR or 2. 500 Reps This week is a home/garden/outdoor workout The challenge is to complete 500 reps. That's 100 reps of each of the following exercises. 100 Squats 100 Press ups 100 Leg raises 50 Runners lunge (on each side) 100 Planks jacks (or toe taps, one toe tap each side = 1 rep) *** VC Points breakdown *** 5 for completion. You can break this down however you wish. 10 Reps each for 10 rounds. 4 Sets of 25 reps in one or over 4 days. +2 Bonus VC points for completion in one go. If you can record it through you watch that would be awesome and take a pic (of your watch) or screenshot activity. +1 Bonus VC points for completing it in 2 workouts. 50 reps each twice, 5 Sets of 10 reps twice. Well done to everyone who has/will completed Week 1, 108 Steps Challenge. THIS IS WORTH 5 CHALLENGE POINTS! Week 2 will be announced tomorrow. Elevation challenge (ongoing til 8th December). Sticking with the 5 theme... Run or walk 500m of elevation gain (started 6th Nov). You will gain 10 Challenge points for this. Complete 500m of elevation in a week, proof is required through tracking app, and rewarded 2 Challenge Points. Complete 5000ft (1524m) of elevation 6th Nov to 8th December and earn 5 Challenge Points. So there you go. Head out and earn your Challenge Points ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

This is the first of 4 weekly challenges that will be set. You have until Tues 17th November to complete it. From the bottom to the top and back down again is one rep. Complete 5 times walking or running and you are done. Record on Strava or Garmin. Title "Rundamentalist LD2.0 VC week 1, 108 Steps" and tag me (Matt) in your comments. Requirements. 1. To start, both feet must be on the floor, no touching the first step Good luck, enjoy and be careful if it's wet. 2. You do not have to go on every step, you can skip some if you have a big enough stride. 3. Both feet must be on the top step before you start your decent. Again, this isn't about who can do it the quickest just about doing the challenge. You will earn 5 virtual challenge points on completion. Cheers,
